Distinguish either between the `Moatsu' and Temshe' festivals of Nagaland or the `Losar' and 'Khan' festivals of Arunachal Pradesh.

Both `Moatsu' and Temshe' festivals are related to agricultural activities of Nagaland. The differences between them are as follows
Moatsu Yemshe
Moatsu is celebrated in the month of May for Yemshe starts in the last week of September and
three days. culminates on the 5th of October.
Losar Khan
Losar is one of the important festivals of Monpas. Khan is mainly a Miji festival of Arunachal
Pradesh.

Losar is celebrated at the end of February or the early March.

There is no definite date for the celebration of Khan.






Losar is celebrated to welcome the new year.


Khan is celebrated to bring together the people  of the tribe.
Khan is mostly celebrated in the East and West Kameng districts. 

Losar is more or less confined to Tawang region.
