Ans. It is once said that if you don't want to enter in politics then you should be ready to be ruled by your inferiors. This statement perfectly suits this context, as in the recent times it has been seen that young people of ethical conduct don't really want to be part of politics, as they feel that they are not suited for politics as it is run by money and muscle Power, unethical conduct, nepotism, corruption etc.

Therefore, to change this scenario of politics, young People should be attracted to join politics. The following steps can be used to motivate them to join
politics

(i) This can be done at school and college level where they should be instilled with the sense of duty and responsibility towards the nation.
(ii) They should be asked to read books related to big leaders like MK Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Nelson Mandela etc. Their life stories can motivate the young leaders as to how on the basis of moral and ethical values one can change the world around one by joining active politics.
(iii) At the college level, students should be asked to actively participate in political debates, college election, youth parliament etc. But the vicious political atmosphere of outside should not be allowed to influence the college
politics, like what had happened in JNU.
(iv) The government and NGOs should also take steps to reduce or eliminate the criminal elements of politics and state funding of elections can also be thought upon, so that people without money and muscle power can join politics.
All these steps have the tendency to really motivate the young talent of the nation to join politics not only as a social service but as a career option as well.
