Parliamentary form of government

The main advantage of the parliamentary form of government is that

(a) the executive and legislature work independently.

(b) it provides continuity of policy and is more efficient.

(c) the executive remains responsible to the legislature.

(d) the head of the government cannot be changed without election.

Solution: (c) the executive remains responsible to the legislature.

The main goal of Parliamentary form of government is that the executive should remain responsible to the legislature. This is done through various instruments such as question hour, adjournment notion, zero hour, etc. Moreover, If the legislature loses confidence on the executive then they can bring about their down fall by passing no-confidence motion.
